Michelle is a bright and bubbly character with a passion for helping! With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry as a proud Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant, Michelle had a fulfilling career assisting patients with eye health and eye fashion. To this day she continues to advocate for eyecare and will still give out tips on frame selections to anyone who will listen! Michelle gained a wealth of knowledge and strong skillset during her years with office management, operations, medical charting, confidentiality and patient-care / customer service. Additionally, with a love of charting and data organization and when life as we knew it changed forever, she pivoted her career path to allow more time with her family from serving in healthcare to supporting in business-care.

When deciding on what name would fit this new business, Michelle took the letters from her 3 daughters' names and with them created 'Dorbii'. This is a tribute to the most important reason for starting a new career path.  Michelle and her husband have worked effortlessly to create a balanced work and home life schedule that allows both of them the opportunity to be more present and involved as parents. Without the unwavering support of her husband staying home and managing the household, Dorbii Inc. would not be the success it is today! ​ She is a proud 'Karate Mom' with her middle daughter who is currently a 12 year old 1st Degree Black Belt and starting another black belt journey with a new karate style Chito-Ryu. Proudly supporting her 'adultie' daughter on her own path attending Algonquin College for her E.C.E. certification.  ​A proud 'Swim Mom' with her youngest daughter as she is working on her Level 4 Magenta and has discovered her excitement to become a lifeguard one day.

Dorbii Bookkeeping Services developed organically. Michelle had the opportunity to help Fine Lines Landscape and Designs (during the pandemic) organize multiple years of paperwork that created a ton of stress on the owner. Once this project was completed she realized that all the skills acquired in healthcare were compatible skills needed to be a bookkeeper.  Halfway through 2025, Dorbii Bookkeeping Services had it's own growth spurt and it was time to incorporate the business. We now operate as Dorbii Inc. and proudly employ other women who share the same excitement for supporting local businesses. All the values and ethics are woven into the fabric of our services and we are excited to help and support more businesses across Ontario Organize & Grow!
